I have kept this light plugged in since the day I got it--months ago--and has yet to fail me. Although, it does light up the room a LOT but it is a warm, yellow color. The light also comes with tabs you can use to mount it to your wall but it's lightweight enough that I used two-sided tape. Couldn't imagine anything better and with a great price none the less.

Oh my goodness this light is so smooth and so comforting it is ridiculous my lights went out a couple of nights ago and I bought this maybe four days before and I had a couple of other lights but I put it up by my TV with my other light and I forgot all about I did not have lights on. I talked to my daughter on the phone for about 2 hours and forgot about anything else after that until the lights came back on. It's not bright but it gives off enough light.
