I'm using these for encaustic art. They are a nice size and surface to apply was on. Wax can be applied directly to board or board may be gessoed before the wax application. It's a good value vs buying boards separately. Is also a good value compared to prepping boards from scratch, I think.

Exactly as described. Basically a 3mm 10x10 board compressed to a 1x1 frame. Works well for laser engraving. Occasionally there is a board you can't use for detailed engraving due to knots in the wood but overall, good product.
