Brighter pink than shown in photo, so i am fading it in the sun

i really like this style of hat (have it already in khaki and tan) and am happy to find it in pink. However the photo shows a pale pink which i really like, and when it arrived it is actually a hot pink or bright pink. So I am going to fade it in the sun. I know this works on a cotton hat, because one of my other hats in olive faded considerably when i left it in the car for awhile in the sun. So i have confidence this will work and i like this hat. This style is great because i like the toggle strap under the chin. Where i live there is wind, so i wear this style hat on my daily walks, all year long. i get many compliments in all the colors i own (khaki, tank, olive, and now pink after i get it to fade)

Even as a L/XL, it is still a bit snug, but works for a good yard/beach hat where I want to cover my ears. My head size is about 7 5/8 to 7 3/4. Love the style and apparent durability. Especially at the price. It is tough jean-like material. 100% cotton that I hope does not shrink too much after washing. I intend to buy another.

This is a nice hat. It fits well and the color (khaki) is just as in the photo. I would say the the material is a little floppier than I was expecting. So the brim flops around more than expected. However if you snap up both sides you get a little more rigidity in the front part of the brim. I may try to ad some staves into the brim to make it a little more rigid. It's still a good value based on sizing, color, and price.
