We are always looking for a good litter box for our 4 cats. They don't mind sharing, and we generally use a large tote with a hole cut in the top for entry and exit. This works great for 4 cats, but is awful to have to scoop. We have tried a multitude of boxes, even electric ones, but each cat has different habits. One in particular who is about 17 pounds loves to sling litter and pee right on the edge. So electric ones ultimately end up breaking because of him.

I purchased this box, and set it up next to their existing tote. Waited 4 days to remove the stinky tote. Today I woke up to the big cat scratching at a blanket on the floor next to their litter area, he had pee'd on the blanket, ugh. So I cleaned the whole litter area, threw away the blanket, mopped the floor with vinegar, and set it all back up. I removed the lid from this box to hopefully give him more comfort in using it. My concern is I should have gotten the one with no archway opening and an open top, time will tell.

All of that, I absolutely LOVE the cleaning process with this, so it's definitely a keeper, just have to get me pain in the rear to act right. He is a moody orange tabby, so it doesn't surprise me that he is the one to rebel.

I had my doubts-but this litterbox is the best one I have come across in 20+ years of cat ownership. It is easy to put together and clean. The sifting saves my back from leaning at an odd angle (due to living in a small space, the litterbox is under shelving) to scoop. The only downfall (which I can live with!) is that the litter will make lots of dust while being sifted (maybe expensive litters don't do this?) so I wouldn't recommend putting this litterbox in a room with carpet. Other than that, it is perfection and worth every penny!

We adopted two kittens in June. It's not a fun task keeping litter boxes clean. I bought several different litter boxes to try out (What do the kittens like? What do *I* like?). We ALL (kittens and humans alike) picked this as our favorite. So, I bought two!

We adopted two young cats recently, and the litter boxes we originally bought were just not going to cut it. They are diggers, and the uncovered litter boxes let litter fly EVERYWHERE. Nope. My OCD was not having that.

I came across Speedy Sift looking for a covered option, and it had good reviews. Let me say - when I got the delivery from Amazon, I was very skeptical. The litter box actually comes in pieces that you have to put together, with a sign that says "NOT CARDBOARD". (It felt a lot like cardboard.) Nevertheless, I put the pieces together. That part didn't take very long and you don't need any special tools.

We've been using the litter boxes and the liners now for about 2 weeks. THEY ARE AMAZING! I love sifting bags. I will never scoop cat litter again as long as I live. The litter box itself is studier than I gave it credit for, even with a cat parked on the lid. The litter box has 100% stopped the flying litter. The cats still track stuff out of the box, but that's the litter and has nothing to do with the box itself. The cats love it! Like, love it so much they want to play in it. (Yuck and no.) The flat top cover is nice and gives the cats an extra sitting spot. I love the way the cover fits OVER the bottom of the litter box because it also prevents the cats from playing with the liners and they can't knock it off like they could some of the plastic ones.

I don't know how long it will hold up, but so far so good. Absolutely worth the money, and other sifting bags fit the box great (although the Speedy Sift ones are really easy to use and even my "diggers" don't shred them frequently).

If you need a covered litterbox, this one is awesome!
