I ruptured my ACL and needed something for support until my knee brace that my orthopedic doctor ordered arrived. This works well and now that my knee has healed, I still use it for long walks or when I have pain from overusing my knee.

I used this for a vacation. I did not want to put on my custom-fit brace while traveling. This worked out okay, kept the knee steady. I would not recommend this for long-distance walking though.
