Do not overtighten!
My Two Cents✓ Verified Purchase•August 24, 2023
Installation was quick and easy. Quality is good, packaging is extra fancy and instructions are clear. Supplied SILICON*** gaskets are good enough - our sink has very large hole and plumber put a ton of putty under the old drain - We just managed with the supplied SILICON gasket - if we overtighten it, it would have slipped in to the hole. ***Description an instructions refer to "silica-gel" gaskets.... there is NO such a thing. Gaskets are decent quality molded SILICON, a blessing in Florida, black rubber disintegrates in few years and we could not buy replacement gaskets for the original (very expensive) pop-up drain. Overall, great buy and $25 well spent... I am seriously considering getting a second one as a spare. Again, hand tighten everything, check for leaks and if there aren't any, leave well enough alone - there is no pressure and minerals, soap scum and toothpaste will seal it for good ;-)
Questionable? Update

The media could not be loaded. Just purchased this spring pop-up drain to replace a Moen lever type that rusted out after 7 years. This particular drain was pricier than some of the other drains, but cheaper than a Moen or Delta. I like the pop-up concept as clean out the old style lever plugs can be a chore.
The drain assembly comes in a nice box, looks well made and substantial. clean brushed metal finish with a very (stainless steel) look. I decided, after looking at some reviews to do some tests before install.
I noted very little documentation other than a general install guide. I'm not convinced RegalMix is all that committed to support as the instructions for "After Sales Servive" {HMM?} has no company contact information anywhere on the box, in the literature or on the hardware. Not even a QR code!
The pipe itself is fairly none magnetic meaning that the material is non-ferrous and not steel, but highly magnetic right where the company name is etched. The brass mounting nut is also somewhat magnetic? meaning it's not completely brass. I can only surmise that the materials are blended or layered use ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
What's this all really mean? Perhaps only time will tell. Several of the less favorable reviews report claims of rust and other issues. I guess I will install and perhaps edit my review at a later date?
Update: The drain was easily installed in a standard bathroom sink. Done in about 45 minutes. Most of the time spend removing and cleaning up the existing drain parts. Seems to work well, hold water in the sink and the overflow works. No leaks or extra trips to the local hardware store. May switch two more bathrooms to these.

Day 1; great installation

My wife has extremely long hair, and despite her best efforts to keep it out of the drain, I've had to take apart the trap in her bathroom sink about quarterly to unclog it of big blobs of hair. ENOUGH! So I just bought this drain for her sink and installed it today. The install went _very_ easily; it was watertight on the first try (very unusual for me). Drain seems well made/well machined. Pop-up stopper is watertight and works very nicely. A great feature is that the retaining nut is very tall; see dimension marked green on this drain on the right, vs. dimension marked red on the old drain at left. The design on this drain makes it _far_ easier to get a grip with a wrench and tighten up the nut.
Obviously too soon to rate durability or whether this actually catches hair and other rubbish in the basket, but I am hopeful.

A Great Upgrade

This product was just in time to replace the worn-out stopper for my bathroom sink. The sink goes back to the first owner from many years ago. The sink stopper wore out, and there were no replacement parts. It's time to upgrade.
This stopper is doing the job, but I stress, measure, measure, measure. My sink has a deeper overflow than modern sinks. The stopper downpipe just made the distance. So if you have an older sink make sure the downpipe is long enough to clear the overflow section.
