This bat is great! Our 3 & 1.5 yo love it! HOWEVER I recommend removing the end caps. Our 1.5 yo hit the bat against our hardwoods which split the plastic end caps immediately (too fragile in my opinion) creating a sharp edge to it. Then our 3 yo accidentally swings the bat into 1.5 yo face and the sharp edge cuts their face. Once the end caps were removed the problem was solved. No major injury just a scratch. Now the bat works great and no more injuries. fyi- The foam can be ripped with teeth.
