A few tips for novices: It does require careful and gentle hands to set up because it is glass, so it does not flex. Pieces need to be carefully aligned when setting up and disassembly. Keep the packing materials for storing them especially if you have children in your household.

I can't believe how cheap it was. It is sturdy, thick glass and performs well. I just wish it had clear instruction but thanks to YouTube I figured out how to hook up a pump to the cooling chamber.

I am honestly surprised that they managed to deliver to my location. Everything seems fine, but the distillation flask came with a scratch. I do not think it reaches the inside, and I hope that this does not make the flask vulnerable to breakage.
