Perfect cutting mat

This is a great cutting mat. I bought another brand to use with my rotary cutter and found it left marks when I pushed hard, so I went searching for one that wouldn't do that. I happened upon this KC Global and ordered it. It's perfect, my rotary cutter doesn't leave marks, it's a light weight to easily move around, and it came in the size I needed. I highly recommend!

I have never used a rotary cutter, thus never needed a cutting mat. I really had no idea what I needed except something that would protect my table, so I searched through what was available on Amazon and decided I would get this one. Well, it certainly exceeds all my expectations. First, I'm glad I opted to purchase this size over a smaller one. I also appreciate all the measurements along each of the edges. And, since I am primarily making face masks, the angles that are drawn on it are EXTREMELY helpful as I attach the straps. Masks I make for men work best when the straps are attached at a 45 degree angle. Women's work better at 30. Once determined that, I found that thanks to those lines on the mat, I can consistently align the straps in the proper positions. It is holding up well after nearly 100 masks have been cut upon it. I love it!!
It's OK but not as durable as hoped

Bought as a cheaper replacement for my self-healing Cricut brand mat. This one doesn't heal and showed cutting marks very fast. The material is stiffer, not as pliable, and was much darker than expected. It's okay, but I will be getting another Cricut mat soon.

My mat arrived today and I've been cutting fabric for my next project. I love the purple color and the grid lines - I like the dotted half inch lines in the one inch boxes. This mat is very accurate and my rotary cutter glides through the fabric without having to press too hard. This is replacing a 14 year old Omnigrid which has become pitted and has permanent grooves in it after so much use. We'll see how this mat hold up, but I like the fact that there are two gridded sides so I can turn it over when one side gets used up. There is no slipping when I'm using it and it looks so pretty on my cutting table. I will update as I use it more, but for now I am delighted with my purchase.

came promptly. This product is durable as well as double-sided, meaning you can switch from black to white as far as the measurements on the mat are concerned. I thought the purple color was very pretty. As an added, unexpected bonus, sometimes I put my laptop computer on top of it and the section of the mat left over functions as a great mouse pad for my mouse! The measurements are very useful for the kind of crafts I do. Sometimes my rotary cutter will scratch it a little bit, but I'm terrible at using a rotary cutter right now so that might be why. Is self-healing just as advertised- can take a rotary cutter blade. highly recommend this product.
