Stock carb was plugged from sitting for years. For the price of ordering new jets I could get this new carb so I pulled the trigger. You have to swap a couple items between the carbs to get this to work but it runs great once installed. Slight bogging in certain RPMs but barely noticeable.

I bought this carburetor for a 2000 Yamaha TTR90. I think the makers of the carburetor have listened to the feedback here in the reviews. The gasoline inlet port is now facing the correct direction. The choke plunger connects up perfectly to the existing choke cable. The factory vent tube port connects right up to the vent tube hose. The throttle cable connects up
perfectly. This little bike has never started nor run better than it does with this carburetor. I'm so pleased. I would make only two suggestions that would make this product perfect, include the rubber cap for the spare port. That way people don't have to go to the auto parts store and buy a $.02 rubber cap. Include one more oring for the intake manifold connection on the other side of the phenolic carburetor intake manifold spacer. Other than that, I was so pleased. The bike started great and idled perfectly. The bike has never run so good. Thank you! Another note, the kit comes with a fuel petcock. Nice to see a company listen to the buyers and fix the issues.

Choosing a replacement carb was a bit difficult as there are several different ones available on here. Some people complain that some carbs don't fit right and some parts (throttle slide, spring, and cover) need swapped from the old carb onto the new one. That was not the case for this one. Everything worked perfectly with the choke and throttle. I used all the new parts and none of my old ones. I'd buy this carb again with zero hesitation. I did need to make minor carb adjustments once installed because it was running rich and idled slightly higher than I like. Those are not problems and should be expected with any carburetor.

Great carb for the price. Had to us factory carb top but used new carb slide and needle. Also used factory choke valve and cover. No factory heat connection on new carb. I just wrapped the factory connectors up with electrical tape. There is a hose nipple were then heat connection should be. I hooked up the carb float bowl drain hose to it. Petcock fit also used the new fuel line just had to lube hose up to fit hose barb. Bike fired right up once bowl was filled with gas. Bike runs great. Can't beat the price, the plastics float for this runs $40 from the dealer

Doesn't have the spot for the heater. Fuel valve facing the wrong way. However, those are minor and more importantly my 2003 ttr 90 started right up and ran perfectly without any adjustment. Hard to complain given the price.
