good for water hikes if you don't mind getting wet. they are stable for short hikes but i wouldn't recommend for strenuous ones. also twigs get stuck in the holes

I have long narrow feet and depending on the style of shoes and the design of the toe box, I can wear size 9, 9.5 or 10 and sometimes even an 8.5. I was concerned about these staying on in the water due to my narrow feet, so ordered 8, 8.5 and 9. I felt a 10 would slip at the heel. Sorry to say, I neglected to check the sizing chart and so received 2 pairs of 39 (8 and 8.5) and 1 pair of 40 (9). They could clarify this better to be more helpful to buyers. My big toe was right at the end of the shoe for the size 8/8.5 although I liked the feel of the width better. I decided to keep the 9 for walking along the beach etc., and use the straps to pull them tighter, hoping they won't come off at the heel in the water. They are super comfortable and lightweight but have yet to test them in the water. Will update my review then.
