Real talc actually works.

Bought a new bottle of Gold Bond, and was shocked when it did not work all day. Looked at the label.
Corn Starch. Used old talc Gold bond the next day, and it worked great.
Apparently I have been living in a hole and had not learned about some pretty dubious science that some lawyers used to hose J&J out of a ton of cash. So now like gas can companies much of the industry has replaced a product that worked great with one that doesn't.
I started looking for product that had real talc. After searching and searching, I found a company who still has a pair of what I put this powder on. It works great, I only wish they had an option for a more masculine scent, and possibly that magic cooling stuff. Really though, non of that matters, it does what I need it to do, and I am totally satisfied. I will keep buying it as long as they keep making it.

This is the first powder I've tried that keeps me dry all day. Some of the better medicated powders work well, but not as good as this powder. I suspect the key ingredient is calamine. This is so much more effective than cornstarch (dollar store powder) that there's really no comparison. I used to pour on the cornstarch powder. With this powder, I use less than 1/10th. In the end, this powder is more effective and costs less than dollar store powder.
The other morning I realized the logo and name could be considered racist. Now I can't stop seeing that. I wish they'd rename their product and change their logo.

Happy to report the product itself has not changed & does what it's designed to do with the cooling effect of calamine & the safety of NO talc in the product. In hot climates be it home work or play MB is a must!

I can't believe you get three large bottles of this stuff at this price! I was tired of paying over $10 for one bottle of big name brand body powder so thought I'd give this a try. This stuff works very well if not better than some of those other big name brands. It doesn't have any menthol, mint, or anything that give you a bit of a tingle so if you're looking for that, look elsewhere. This has a very pleasant scent to it but it's almost nonexistent which is nice. Shake a handful of powder in the hand, apply it to the body areas after totally drying off after a shower and you're good to go for the day!
My one and only gripe about this is that it does not wash off your hand with just a quick rinse under the water. I hope this is a sign that it stays on your body working to soak up sweat but it is a little annoying having to wash your hands to get the fine pinkish powder off your hand. Not a deal breaker by any means at this price but just something to note.
