Bought these to go with a pair of waders.
Light weight, wide enough (I usually wear a 10.5 wide). Bought these in a 12 to account for the neoprene wader feet. These fit great, drain fast and didn't cost a fortune. My son who wears an 11 also bought these in a 12 and his fit good. Mentioning that just to say you could probably get away with going +1 size above what you'd wear in a sneaker. Haven't had them long enough to have an opinion on durability, but they seem well made and should be useful for infrequent fishing trips

I used to use the all in one waders that includes the boot, but they're always uncomfortable. I finally made the switch to get the wader pants separately and wader boots separately. This way it feels more like a regular boot and I can change the wader pants if it ever get punctured and keep the boot. It's much easier to walk on sand with these. The boot has good traction and when I wrap the other layer around the boot, barely any sand gets in. I fished on the surf for 5 hours with these on and they worked great. The sole is much thicker than my old boot so it adds to the comfort. I hose them down and let it sun dry after the trip. Pretty durable shoes.

I bought these a little less then a year ago and was happy with them until the sole started to separate from the shoe. I submitted a claim to the manuf and they were awesome. Quick to reply and resolved by sending me a replacement pair. Thats quality customer service!
