Good to keep a history except

i could have done fine with the one lead model and saved the extra money. What i got out of the six lead was HR and if in Afib but the 1 lead does the same. Who can decipher 6. I think i could have done fine with the 1 lead. Besides you need to have your leg or ankle available so you cannot measure laying down, standing or if wearing pants in stopped traffic. When i saw my cardio dr they didnt interpret other than the main lead for history to put in notes the rest wasn't that important and said electro physics might want to look at that if dealing with arrhythmias.
I use it with an internal defibrillator.

My cardiac electrophysiologist, who I have had for 27 years recommended it when I asked. I am now on icd number 6. There is no risk, none, to your device either pacemaker or icd.
You are told not to use it because it doesn't know how to interpret the pulses from you device. Think about it, doctors do a 12 lead and it does nothing to the icd. The risk is patients misinterpreting when it gives either a constant unclassified or possible Atrial fib reading, which are false, then thinking the sky is falling.
That being said, its main purpose is to diagnose AFib. I have both AFib on occasion, but also more deadly ventricular tachycardia which can be deadly. Thus, my icd.
In January of this year, I had my sixth defibrillator. This does, besides defibrilation what is called bi ventricular resynchronizing.
I never get a normal sinus rhythm. Always unclassified. My doctor said not to be concerned unless I feel AFib. Just saw him last week, and he looked at my stored results. Said keep using it daily.
That being said, I find the 6L is much more finacky than the single lead. Going back to using it, as for me the 6L is just too touchy.
Worth it and easy to use

I was skeptical of how well this little device would work. Incredibly easy to set up, I haven't had to change the batteries yet either. I leave mine in my desk and used it everyday to build a baseline. I know this doesn't replace an ecg in a doctors office but seems pretty consistent as my results there. You can also create an additional user so your spouse/partner can use as well. It's definitely worth it, easy to use and carry with you.
Fantastic EKG Monitoring Product and Support

This product takes an EKG reading, reports on A-Fib and other heart rhythm abnormalities. It also provides an EKG trace that can be printed or forwarded to your own cardiologist for interpretation. After working faithfully for just over a year, it started experiencing too much interference to provide reliable information. The technical support representative was very helpful in trying to solve the problem. When this was not successful, the company replaced the product with a new one although it was a couple of weeks after the warranty expiration. This has been an outstanding product that is easy to use and extremely helpful for anyone wanting to monitor heart issues.
Not a substitute for real ECG monitoring, but convenient; beware false positives

This product works as described. In my case, it initially mischaracterized my heart rhythm as possible atrial fibrillation, which began an adventure in chasing down this possible arrhythmia diagnosis to the point of an expensive cardiac work-up. Perhaps that is just the device working as intended, though. If it had correctly warned me of an actual health risk my review would be more positive. I believe this technology could save lives in some cases, so I am overall a fan of the concept. If the false positive rate could be improved on it could be better. Perhaps future software updates will refine this. If it, overall, burdens our already crowded primary care system with unnecessary work-ups for atrial fibrillation, I'm not as positively disposed toward it. The jury is still out for that. It is for that reason I didn't give it a top rating. My feelings may change, only time will tell.
