I, like others in the reviews, was initially surprised by the small size of this sound machine when it arrived. However, I must say that despite its size, it produces more than enough volume. In fact, it matches or even exceeds the volume of my previous sound machines. Personally, I use it exclusively for the ocean waves sound when I sleep, so I can't speak for the other sound options, but it performs precisely as I had hoped, and I'm quite satisfied with it. And the fact that it plugs in with USB makes it great for traveling.

I live with a family of heavy snorers and this white noice machine helped me get back peaceful nights.
The selection of noises (white, brown, pink, rain, thunder, thunder and rain etc) are fantastic and I switch in between the thunder with rain or pink noise. It can get pretty loud, but I like to keep it at a medium low level, that's enough to help me drown out my family.
Also, the timer feature is great in case you don't want to have it running all night. There are 1-4 hour timers (don't quote me, i don't have it in front of me right now), but I do not after a couple hours it will shut off. There are light indicators that show how long the time is active. One light is one hour.
I recommend this.

This was just what I needed. Works great and is easy to use. You can use it on a timer or just turn it on for the night and cut it off when you're done. It's small so it would be easy to throw it in your bag for travel. Very happy with this sound machine.

I bought this when my daughters and I were going on a trip. I always have trouble sleeping because I sleep with a fan on and cannot sleep without white noise. I used this on our trip and I loved the convenience of how small it is but it delivered great white noise. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because it only stays on for the longest time of 5 hours (that I could find) and I don't know about you but I sleep longer than that. So, it shut off and I woke up then could not get back to sleep even though I turned it back on. If it had a longer run time it would have been perfect and gotten a 5 star review. Well worth the money if you are aware of the time issue.

Works great. We prefer the gurgling brook sound. Volume easy to control. Remembers settings even after being unplugged. Sounds do not repeat. Previous sound machine I used was physically larger and after a while I could detect the sound pattern repeating. I found this to be very annoying.
