Very nice

This was one of my favorite Christmas presents! I make wine, so I need a wine rack this size. It is easy to assemble and rearrange. No screws or tools needed! You don't have to stack it all the way to the top. I split mine in half so that I could keep it under my winemaking table! In the future, I might buy another one so I can expand the one I have. The design makes it easy to do this.

took off one star since the parts were rattling in the box when I took it into the house, found a broken piece of wood from one of the shelves. I glued it back and used that shelf on the top.
packaging needs to be tighter.
otherwise, it works fine.

Happy with product after some modifications

I purchased this product over the competitors for several reasons:
1) Similar products often complained about the assembly being slightly off and having to modify things.
2) They often described an assembly that required pounding with a rubber mallet.
3) I liked the 9 across shelf design versus than 12 across of most of the competitors.
My Issue with this product:
At least for the components that I received, I thought that the assembly was too loose. The pieces essentially just readily slipped into their respective grooves with no force whatsoever - sometimes without even the force of connecting Lego pieces. With nothing on the shelves, the slightest upward pressure disengaged some of the horizontal pieces from their groves. This gave the fully assembled product a slightly wobble. I was concerned that the lack of solid connections could perhaps risk the integrity of the shelves and ultimately the wine on those shelves.
I contacted the seller and he was cordial and friendly and ultimately suggested that I glue the pieces together. I really did not think glue on the open spaces was the answer because of the possibility of messiness and running. (Not to mention that I could never disassemble all of part of the shelves). I chose to cut shims out of duct tape to the size of the vertical cuts on each of the side pieces (8 per block). That was a lot of cuts. Most of them required a single piece of tape on each side of the cuts. However, some of the gaps were slightly wider and required two pieces on each side. This slight thickness was enough to tighten the pieces sufficiently to remove the sway in the unit and to prevent the cross pieces from moving or shifting any of the pieces out of place with slight pressure. With this adjustment, I feel much more comfortable with placing my wine on the rack and expect that it should be sufficiently stable regardless of how many bottles are in place. Without this adjustment, I would have returned the unit. It took about three to four hours to complete this project of improving the unit.
I sent the following suggestions to the seller:
1) Alter your cuts the wee bit necessary to make the pieces fit tighter
2) Provide a sheet of perforated vinyl sized to the spacing as I described above for your consumers to use if they desire a tighter fit. Most would not go through the effort that I did.
3) Consider the peg design used by many competitors. With pegs, I believe there would be less sway. Further, a dab of glue could be placed on the pegs to minimize any running on to visible pieces and it would enhance security should you desire a permanent build.
Assuming that none of the suggestions apply to the product that you received, you may choose to take the road that I did. Overall the product is very sturdy and functional AFTER I MADE MY MODIFICATIONS.
One other note: One of the side boards has the name of the company etched into it. You may want to locate it prior to installation so that you can plan where this name be placed in your installation.

Easy to build and holds up

I've purchased expensive wine racks in the past (this is about 1/3 the price of them) and this is so much better. From wood quality, to putting it together. It's like making a lincoln log house with how everything connects. It is, however a little wobbly until you put your wine onto it so don't let that deter you. After everything is in it is sturdy. I would love if there was some kind of mount that would attach to the wall so I could make it even higher since the nature of the structure lets you keep adding onto it.
