Very sturdy, but a bit heavy, great shade and size. Folds up small.

I do like this umbrella it's too heavy for what I need it for so I am going to return it. However I replaced it with the smaller version (not wind resistant model) and I am happy with that. I'm going to Europe in the summer and my skin is the color of a sheet of paper so I need extra sun protection. This model is actually great, very well made, sturdy as heck! But again, the weight. I would also add that while it has an auto open and close feature it does not retract fully and you have to use significant force to completely retract it, I want to repeat the "significant force" part, you'll need both hands and some muscle! I would recommend it but with the caveats above.

Worked wonders in the Florida heat in August. Used this and a neck fan practically every day. Bonus that I had an umbrella when it rained one day. I'd definitely buy this again. Size was great too, large enough to shade 2 people if standing in line. Folds away great and while not super compact it wasn't obnoxiously large.

Love this umbrella. I am a cancer patient and when walking, which I do every day, if the sun is shining, I MUST protect myself from the sun's radiation.

I live in Florida and I have Photodermatitus. So I am LITERALLY ALLERGIC TO THE SUN in the SUNSHINE STATE! Trust me when I say this Umbrella has taken some die hard abuse and survived! I take it everywhere and sometimes open and close it dozens of times a day.

I am positive I've used it hundreds, if not thousands of times in the last 3 years since I bought it. And I've stuffed it in bags, in the car at my feet, on my work lunchbox, in backpacks, you name it, and even as it has worn it has still worked.

I showed pictures of it now after all my abuse because I wanted to show how even with the holes now in the top, when open it still has pretty awesome coverage because of the double canopy. Like any umbrella in strong wind if you face the wrong way it may flip but in all my time with it that only happened once. I will say the Velcro to close the umbrella frayed over time so closing it can be a pain but that was expected since I use it constantly. The auto open and close button however is just fine still.

The umbrella is also noticeably cooler underneath on a hot day. And I've used it in the rain just fine. A little small for Florida's sideways rain but my primary need was for sunlight anyway. Expect it to be a little heavier then your average umbrella because of it's durable protective material but I wouldn't give it up! I even use it in the theme parks!

All in all I highly recommend this Umbrella and I'm sticking with this brand for my medical needs. I already bought the 62in for heavy rain days and have no regrets. If you have sensitive skin or a condition, do yourself a favor and get one of these!
