This book is very helpful in understanding the options of the equinox 800 or 600 detector. I highly recommend anyone who owns the equinox detector to get this book. Your knowledge will expand about your detector. Very descriptive on each option of the control and good advice from other detectorist. I have read this book completely and I still go back to it at times for reference. Thanks for putting this info out for us that love metal detecting.

There is great information in this book, worth the purchase. That being said, the book is overly worded, full of fluff, and the organizational flow didn't work for me, but I keep it with me when ever I go detecting because the meat of the book is very useful and I refer to it often.

I read some of the reviews of this book and had almost decided not to buy but I wanted to learn the machine so I purchased the book. I have read the book in its entirety and it has become my go to manual for the equinox 800. The book explains each setting on the detector helping to navigate the different types of detecting. As bonus, the writer included different hunters settings that can be programmed into the machine. I overlooked what some called typos and other mistakes in the writing and read to learn. This book will help anyone is a novice to the Equinox 600 and 800. Both machines are explained throughout the book. In my opinion, this book is a must read for the Equinox Metal Detector.
