My old pontoon top stitching is breaking loose, so I thought this glue would work. And it did, so far.
I used some woodworking clamps and board for the long seams. Clamped for 5-8 hours and it is holding. Did it in the sun and 85 degrees. Hope it holds up. Very easy to use.

I love a good shortcut! It's through my own laziness that I learned that sometimes ironing clothes with a flat iron works better, especially if you're trying to reinforce a hem line. I was always fixing hem lines when I was younger, I wore high-heels with flare leg pants, so my stiletto was constantly getting caught inside my pants and ripping out the thread. I wish I'd had this product back then! With tapered pants this doesn't happen quite as often but when I was having some unraveling hems in some of my favorites, as well as some of my kids' favorites. It's not so much laziness anymore, I just have a few other things to do. And my kids expect things to be fixed quickly, The timeline for my own stuff it's a little more flexible, so this product is a dream! ***** UPDATE 07/24/23***** I washed the rugs that I used the glue on, and they held up fine to the washing. The fabric hot glue that I used with it failed miserably, but this glue held tight. I let the rug sit for 24 hours undisturbed prior to washing it. I did a hot water wash, medium heat tumble dry.

I used this stuff to fuse two smaller cotton rugs together to make one large one for my living room floor. It holds well, I left it alone for 24 hours before I moved it, it held fast. I even flipped it around a little bit to see if that effected it, it did not.
It is supposed to be washable, so I will give that a try when the time comes. I'll update the review if
necessary, but for now, it's holding tightly.
You get a decent sized bottle of the product, but be careful, it comes out of the bottle fast! I just wiped it up with a paper towel, no harm, no foul. There was no seepage through the material either, but it's a tightly woven cotton rug that has been washed a lot, too. I'd test it out on whatever material you're trying to bond first.

This product works very well. So much so I've repaired car roof linings to older car of mine and fixed a button on the sleeve of my favorite peacoat. Granted the button serves no purpose but for show. However it's held in place for a month and still going strong even after some rain exposure.
