Your product is amazing and great. If I would, I will give you 10 star. I ever bought mobs of all kind of car vent style hold. Very important things for vent car hold are 1: hold tight especially for modern trend bigger and bigger screens meaning more heavily; 2: Strong power magnet. The latter is easier to fulfilled. But the former one is not easy. Concept of design is greatly wonderful in 2 ways: twist tight with small short hooks, which make sure hold tight badly and remove easily w/o scratching vent; enough right length not too long make great range visual view angles adjustment easier. Those two features described above are superior to and beat more than 90% products on market right now. When holder came out from box, you can feel its weight, that is to say in my mind means quality. Congratulation your efforts, hard work to make your customers like me happy and satisfaction. I will recommend everyone around me your product if he or she want to choose magmatic vent style car holder. Thank you guys again to bring the wonderful product into market.

(This is an update to my original review where I gave only one-star, complaining that the adhesive on the mounting plates would not stick to my iPhone case and therefore returned the unit for a refund. I now must admit this was an UNFAIR review which, humbly, I will explain below.)

PROBLEM SOLVED!
I found this unit after purchasing several other mounting devices, none of which would work on either of my vehicles. In fact, one of the units I purchased was $85 and worthless and could not get a refund! It seemed this magnetic phone mount was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the first time, after several attempts at mounting the several self-adhesive metal plates, the strong magnet would snap the plate right off the case...until...

...after my original review the good people at Vicseed reached out to me to help solve my problem, sending me a new unit for free to try again. In the meantime I did some research, learning that my case is made from polycarbonate plastic which is notorious for repelling adhesives. There is also "mold release", an oil that remains on such cases after manufacture that gives the polycarbonate a somewhat "greasy" feel. Turns out this was NO FAULT OF THE ADHESIVE, but a problem with the iPhone case material!

This time around, instead of using the water-based cleaning pad supplied in the box, I took a chance and vigorously rubbed the back of the case with acetone solvent to remove all possible oils. This extreme solvent is notorious for melting plastics, so I was concerned it would damage the plastic case, but I was willing to take the chance. Fortunately, though, the acetone did no damage whatsoever to the slick, clear polycarbonate finish! (WARNING: Do not try acetone on any material other than polycarbonate or on any case with a printed pattern!)

I then carefully positioned and applied the self-adhesive metal plate, adding considerable pressure, placing a book on top to keep pressure constant on the plate. After waiting 30 minutes or so I tested the magnet, snapping it on and off to the plate, doing so repeatedly. The plate remained tightly in place to my great satisfaction!

WHAT I LIKE:
"¢ The mounting unit is small, light, very discreet. I like how my iPhone appears to "float" on the dash without those big, bulky side clamps featured on other units I have tried that seem to interfere with the side buttons on the phone.
"¢ Unit is very sturdy, versatile, and with a simple twist clamps tightly to either horizontal or vertical air vent louvers (I have either in my two cars.)
"¢ The ball-and-socket mount adjusts the phone to just the right viewing angle, and with a twist clamps down tight.
"¢ Because the phone is mounted magnetically, I can place the phone in vertical or horizontal position at will without having to re-adjust the mount.
"¢ The magnet is very strong, holding my iPhone tightly, even when riding on rough, dirt roads in my SUV with stiff suspension.
"¢ The price is right!
"¢ The Vicseed customer service person was GREAT, converting me back into a loyal customer! I will be purchasing additional units for my other car and pickup.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT!!

The Best magnetic car mount i have tested by far. I have a Galaxy s20 Ultra and this thing actually holds it super strong like glue, I couldnt believe it considering the weight of my phone but it works superbly. The trick is to have a thin case for the back of the phone with good bumpers for sides and camera.(Will not work on thick cases)..I also tried a case that comes with a preinstalled Ring/plate on back, that WILL NOT WORK with this phone due to the fact that the ring is raised and slippery. USE THE PLATES included. If you do have a thick case then the only other Solution would be to try to put the plate on the outside of the case(i have not tried this but should work).
As for the adjustable clip to mount it on the vent, it is super practical. If you look at the picture the manufacturer provides there is like a plastic flap right above the adjustable clip. Make sure you position that flap to lean on something like the thing you hold to position the vent to go left or right(horizontal vent). I positioned mine right above it so it puts its weight on the clip used to move the vent. This will help the clip from any movement and keep it super sturdy(I included a picture to show this). The only questionable thing right now will be durability..That can be only judged with time, but i believe in my case since i dont plan on moving it much so it should last a while. Another thing to note is that when placing the phone and removing the phone, make sure you remove it from left to right or right to left..Do not remove it from top to down or bottom to top because there is movement that will occur as the mount has wiggle room to adjust the position. if you remove from the sides there is no movement and comes off with no effort. Hope this review Helps for the people out there like me with a heavy phone.....:-)

Unfortunately, this product didn't work for what I was trying to get it to do. I was hoping for a mount that could hold both my phone ring and my fiancé's iPhone's magsafe. Kyra reached out to me and made my customer experience 1000% better. They don't normally have to reach out after a return, but she took the time to personally see what was wrong and try and offer a solution based on what I needed.
