I like that this unit does not have a cord attached to it, so I can take it where I want to. Bathroom outlets are not always located where you need in order to do nails. The little dust shield is nice, but once it gets dusty, it is hard to see what I am doing. The variable speed is nice. So far I have only really needed the slowest speed and that does the job. I'm not experienced enough to know if I care about which way it rotates. I do know that the off setting is right in between these two and it is easy to end up at the other rotation setting when trying to turn it off. I think it is a matter of getting used to the switch. The light is a good feature too and learning how to use the unit at the right angle for the light and the dust shield is just a matter of time and practice.

Another thing I liked about this unit is that it comes with a case. That being said, I was disappointed in the quality. The description prides its workmanship and the case does not do justice. The materials that keep the outside canvas zippered case rigid and are molded are made from the same material that gets thrown out of other product packaging. But here they are the inside parts of the case. They are meant to be retained. They hold everything in place, but I just expected something less flimsy and more permanent. Plus, the way they are fitted together does not make grabbing my needed attachment convenient. Still, I will enjoy using the unit itself.

A year later it still works great but to change one of the brown nail filers, is difficult to pull off to change for a fresh one. The settings don't tell you the speed and the speed button is in the way when you hold it. Still works great and I'm no professional. You will adapt to it as I have but wouldn't get again. Great for beginners if your looking for something on the cheaper side and is durable and will last.

Perfect set for home use. Originally purchased for myself, but ended up using it for my husband's needs as well as my kids'. Excellent investment for the price paid. Excellent quality.

Product comes complete with everything you need for hand or foot care. Stores in convenient case. Easy to use and has eliminated toe injuries from the use of clippers. Wish I bought it sooner.

Very easy to use. I got my nails done very quickly, without cuts or painful sensations. It takes time to get used to the different attachments, but it's not a big deal. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the device.
