I bought this suit for my 89 year old mom. Everything was pretty good quality. I wasn't crazy about the type of fabric. It is kind of a satin/satineen type. But with that being said, the suit is absolutely beautiful. The rhinestones are better quality than a lot of the more expensive suit I have purchased. They are real stones and not the diamond mesh. Besides the fabric, I did have one other thing I wish was different. Along the bottom of the jacket, the rhinestone band is cut straight at the ends where the jacket comes together. This causes the ends not the have rhinestone coverage. If the band would have cut at an angle, it would have covered all of the fabric. I know what I am saying may kind of confusing, but the coverage was not a deal breaker for me anyway. (There is a picture but if difficult to see all of it.)
As far as the fit, I purchased her an 18 which is what she normally wear. The skirt was perfect! It was like I had it taylor made for her. The sleeves on the jacket were a little long for her but I think it is actually a perfect size 18.
I also purchased the matching hat which I loved. The two made a stunning outfit. She received so many compliments and I thought she looked simply marvelous.
