My temperature gauge is in my feet. It sounds silly but I know I'm not alone in this. When I'm out doing activities like hiking or golfing, if my feet get hot, the rest of me becomes hot. I was looking for socks that would be comfortable and protect my heel from potential blisters with new shoes. These fit the bill. They are a nice weight, breathable, and they are snug around the instep. Not so snug that your feet feel like they're being strangled, just tight enough to feel secure. Wore every pair on a one week trip. Can't wait to try them golfing. For reference, I wear a women's size 10 shoe.

I wear a 13W shoe and have thick ankles, so socks can be difficult. I bought the no-show socks from this brand, and as the weather has been getting cooler, I found myself in need of higher socks. So when I saw they made ankle socks, I thought I'd try them. They are super comfortable and work great with my boots. They are the socks I reach for every morning. They are thin enough to work with sneakers and dress shoes but still substantial enough for boots. And I love the higher heel tab, which makes them easy to get on and reduces rubbing in shoes with a higher collar like boots.
