Great product but rope is weak
Dave Lojera✓ Verified Purchase•October 10, 2023
Very good product. I used it once and the rope snapped. The rope seems kind of brittle. But other than that I got no other complaints. Maybe a stronger rope would be nice
Works but frayed rope
James Baird✓ Verified Purchase•October 6, 2023
Did what I needed and worked great. The rope was frayed in spots though. When you buy something brand new you don't expect it to have noticeable faults. It did the task though the magnet is strong.
Easy and effective

Bought this because I couldn't feed a cord through the wall at home. Worked perfectly and was done in 1 minute
Made my job simpler

Bought this for a specific job of pulling stat wire through walls when the construction crew beats me to projects and already has the drywall up. So far used it on about 5 separate projects and have had no problems. I imagine the reviews about the end separating is due to it getting stuck and then jerked hard
The head is too big, the magnet is not so strong
Igor V. Zavoychinskiy✓ Verified Purchase•August 7, 2023
The head of the cable is too big for most applications. You need to have a really big hole in your wall to make this thing practical.
Even if you can fit the head into the wall, it may not move if there is insulation inside. It may work good for the non-insulated walls, or the walls with a minor insulation. If you're looking at the wall made in 1990+, forget it. In my case it didn't work at all. The insulation was too tight for this thing to go through (a new wall, made in 2020).
