Came with the chimney part scratched and they told me they don't have replacement parts and that I should paint it myself. Also came with a horrendous warning sticker on the chimney part of the sort that falls apart and leaves residue behind. Right in the front of the most prominent part of the item. They told me to try to use a hair dryer and rub olive oil on it to remove the residue, which just left a big mess on the finish. Ridiculousness. Fan itself is great, powerful and quiet though it doesn't sit flat to the wall so that's not the best looking. This is the kind of quality issues I would expect to find with a $150 fan, not a $450 one.

EDIT: despite that experience, it worked out okay as the company offered a sizeable refund and after painting the chimney with behr "black" color flat paint, it matches well and looks great, not very noticeable that it sits away from the wall a bit and the fan itself is AWESOME. Pulls a ton of air and very quiet on full blast. Light color is a little wierd and can't be dimmed but other than that great product. And it's nice that the logo is embossed and the same color as the body of the unit so it doesn't stick out that it's not a household name brand. Worth it in the end

Good price considering quality but the hand waving feature is a bit inconsistent and the mounting instructions were lacking details due to language barrier I believe

The suction power on this is awesome, it completely clears up my kitchen in a matter of minutes. The only caveat is the touch-less sensor that keeps tripping, which turns on your range hood automatically. As some of the others have alluded, you can just put some black electrical tape over the sensor and that will solve your issue.

The hood looks great installed. Film was hard to remove from the SS surface. Having issues with initial installation and the motion detector gets set off from across the room. Will look how to reset this.

This is a well built hood with four speed fan that at it's most powerful is much quieter than indoor vented hood it replaced. It is installed outside vented and I am so happy when it runs and does it's job!

The controls feature no touch sensors, a touch sensors and a remote. Remote always works but a small random remote does not lend it self to a busy small galley kitchen. I have not been able to make the no touch sensors work with my hand wave but sometimes my head moves close and the fan goes on. The touch buttons for on and off and fan speed work, except when my hands are greasy. The light button is reluctant to work.
