We had hired a contractor to do some home renovations and ended up having to fire him and finish some of the work ourselves. The biggest issue we had was an arched doorway that was built into the existing doorway where a sliding glass door had been removed. The contractor managed to finish the plaster side of the arch very well, but had no idea how to finish the opposite side where we had installed Shiplap. He clearly didn't know what he was doing and had used a ton of wood filler for some reason.
After having fired the contractor, we started looking for ways to finish the arch ourselves. YouTube to the rescue! I watched a woman install this flexible molding to the top of an arched doorway. She did it herself and it looked great once finished. We ordered it, installed it, painted it white and it looks great!
