I have been wearing ASICS for years now, in particular the Frequent Trail, which was my goto shoe, but sadly I could not get them in my size, so I went with these. Needless to say I was not disappointed, they are very close in appearance and comfort. If you are on your feet a lot, these are definitely going to help you out.

Good sneaker. Fits well and is comfortable to run around and be active in. But I had a pair of Asics that lasted me nearly 8 years, and this pair only lasted 2. Don't make them like they used to, I guess.

After these arrived, I took them in a spin around the block. Based on that initial outing, they seem OK but not overly shock-absorbing. Though not advertised as such, the running shoes had obviously been previously purchased and returned. The insoles were dotted with lint, indicating previous use. The exterior shoe treads did not appear used, however, at least not on a surface that left its mark. Since I intended to replace the insoles with upgraded Spenco cross-trainers, I opted to keep the merchandise. But buyer beware.

I run every day, a few morning trail miles with the dogs plus 3-4 training runs up to 8-10 miles every week. I've had these shoes over a year now and they've probably covered 1,500 miles or so. I'll probably get a new pair soon and phase the new ones in gradually, but these ones are still doing great.
I like these ASICS shoes and they're great value too. My only gripe is that they update the model numbers and details every year, and change some thing or other about them. I'd like to find a pair I can stick with for more than a year or two. But no complaints about these shoes.
