These were a good value and skip well. The bearings in it work well and allow the wheel in the end to spin freely. It even came with extra foam pieces but we have had them for months and haven't needed to replace any yet. The only downside is that there are little plastic cups in the wheels covering the bearings and, while skipping, if the wheel hits off any porch furniture or a wall or anything those little plastic peace's shatter into dozens of little plastic shards. This happened fairly quickly in both of our skippers. It hasn't been a big problem except for cleaning up the plastic shards however this does kind of leave the bearings exposed so I expect dirt and stuff will get in there eventually and may cause problems.

Our 6 year old girl really enjoyed this as a Christmas gift. She mastered how to use it in about a week and a half. I suggest using in a wide open area. We were in her bedroom and in the process of using it, it tapped a table foot and part of it broke off. Thankful it was still in workable condition.
