I tried Harry's many years ago when they only sold direct and found their German blades so dull they'd often Nick me. I threw my original Harry's razor and blades in the trash and switched to a Braun electric. This past June I see Harry's on Amazon and I read all the great reviews. I think to myself "they may have improved the blade in 5 years I'll give Harry's a try again, my Braun electric is good but can't give a close shave like a razor can.
I get the kit from Amazon with the cool orange handle which has a nice balance to it, and more Importantly the all new German blades are not only razor sharp, but they're the sharpest I've ever used. They last me about 5 times each which is amazing, but most importantly Harry's blades give me the best shave I've ever had along with glide shaving gel and hot water.

These razors are by far the best thing that I have used on my face. (My wife tells me a Brown Paper Bag would be an improvement, but that is for other time). The only thing that that might have given me a closer shave would be a straight edge and there is no way that I am going to do that myself as the bathroom would swiftly look like a Crime Scene. Why it took me so long to try them is really the question. The price point is great. The Handle itself is well balanced and solid. The "floating" head took a couple of shaves to get used to. The shave is smooth as silk as the razor just seems to glide across your face and I have yet to get a knick. If you are in the market for a very well made product which is more than reasonably priced, buy these Harry's Razors!
