Picture quality isn't amazing, but I deal with high end dslrs. But it's perfect for my 3 year old. She loves to take it around and help us photograph the houses we photograph! It also has some cool "sticker" features in the camera she loves. You will need a memory card that is a converter to one of the micro sd cards. Over all super impressed and probably one of her favorite Christmas presents.

This is the perfect first camera for my 3 year old. She always wants to take pictures with my phone, so I wanted her to have a way to be more independent with her photography. She adores this camera and takes it everywhere. The buttons are straightforward and she figured out on her own how to operate it. It's survived many drops! The picture quality is definitely not as good as a smartphone, but good enough for 100 pictures of her stuffies :). It adds a sort of retro feel to the pics. If things start looking extra blurry, try wiping the lens - little fingers make lots of smudges!

Got this for my daughter when she was 28-months old, and it has been a bit hit! It was pretty easy for her to learn how to use it, and it is so interesting to see the random things she decides to take pictures of from her perspective. Very durable and thoughtfully made for little kids. I also liked that this one did not have games on it. Nothing against games, but I wanted her to focus mainly on the photos with this particular item. It does have virtual stickers (and real stickers) that you can add to photos, and she has had some fun with that. Overall, love it and have also recommended it to several other moms with toddlers who also liked it a lot! This is a great option of you want a simple camera, no games, and good battery life.
