Overall good soldering station added bonuses that you can use either 18 volt battery or AC plug. More precise temperature control would be nice but for the price it's still really worth it

Would of been nice if Home Depot kept these in stock instead of having to order them.
No problem though, Amazon had them a little cheaper. With that being said, the seller I bought mine from (Amazon choice seller) took forever to ship it out and didn't package it inside another box to protect it. This resulted in the soldering iron holder poking out of the box as seen in the pictures.
Great product, just be careful which seller you order from.

I needed a portable soldering iron cuz I did not have any 110V at my location. I originally purchased a AA battery type of soldering pen,which was waste of time, not hot enough. Thank God for free returns,LOL
This soldering iron has adjustable heat and at 1\2 setting will solder rosin core in seconds as it should. Heats up faster than my 30W 110V iron. LED INDICATORS are red while heating up then green when at temperature. This is while using a Ryobi One battery. You can replace the battery with a common extension chord plugged into the back where the battery would be located.
Nice bench top style design that can be also used as a portable.
Cable length to the soldering pen is adequate.
Comes with foam cleaning pad and two tips, one flat and one point.

This is basically a HAKKO so replacement tips fit it and it heats up in just 10 seconds but there are a couple of things I didn't like, the cord is very stiff and it has no temperature display so you just have to guess. Other than that it's a very handy little iron.
