When they advertised this would be clear, I had no idea how crappy my other glass ball was until I bought this one. The tripod is a nice touch that it came with but it isn't very pretty for photos. I love that it comes with its own carrying case.

This is super clear, and a great photography tool! I wanted to love it, but the 90mm was a little too big for me to work with comfortably (it is heavy, and I didn't feel too comfortable/secure in the tiny suction cup's ability to hold on to it). The other accessories like the carrying case were amazing quality, and I'd definitely buy this again, but in a different size.
Also, BEWARE: you WILL burn yourself if you're out using this in the sun. I had it out on the beach on a pretty cool day to photograph, and within a few seconds of holding it, it burned my finger. I know it already warns about using it in sunlight, I just wasn't prepared for how fast it would happen.

Had my first one a little off level, and it fell(these things can't fall, they are toast after that). The holding upside down pics I have seen "must" be from a brand new suction cup. Now, that said, these are not for anyone who does not have a pretty good photo shop program. All the pics are upside down, so you have to be able to flip them.

Changed to 4 stars because seller responded by refunding cost AND sending new kit. The new tripod broke upon opening but I'm not complaining.
One star because the kit includes a tripod that is sooo cheap, one leg was already broken. I tried to resolve this to no avail. Seller is not responding.
The ball is fine - and doesn't break when dropped! - and the storage case is handy.
If you're wanting that tripod, this is NOT the kit for you.
