Did not come with any instructions. However, it is easy enough to install and figure out how to change the seat angle. The old seat post could not be raised any more as it was at the minimum insertion length. This new seat post is much longer and being able to raise the seat made a huge difference in pedaling met efficiency especially on climbs. Construction seems sturdy, holding up very well so far with 225 lb load.
