This is the best battery on the market right now for students or people who rely on their computers away from outlets. Here are a couple of reasons I chose to order the battery:
- Capacity big enough to significantly charge my MacBook pro while not having to worry about it when traveling on airplanes.
- Slim form factor to fit in my backpack to carry with me to school. Also great to put under my Macbook when there's limited desk space.
- A 10w wireless charger means I can charge my phone fast and easily without a cable.
- Included accessories - a HUGE deal for me. It is hard to find cables you can trust on Amazon, especially when reading through the reviews. The included USB-C to USB-C cable charges my MacBook Pro at full speed when running Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop side by side. The USB-C to USB can charge a friend's computer (though significantly slower) while I charge mine, which can come in handy. It was SUPER convenient not to have to find cables after ordering this battery - plus, they're nice and short for travel!
- It looks great - this might not be the most important thing for a battery, but it sure helps when you have to carry it around while looking professional.
- It charges sugar fast - Only takes about 30-45 minutes I believe to charge up completely.
After receiving this battery, here are some bonus points for me:
- charges my MacBook Pro once when heavily running Illustrator and Photoshop (takes about 30-45 minutes) - 1 1/2 when not --> this is all I really need when going to school. If I need more at that point, I need to bring my wall charger.
- Reasonably lightweight for its capacity
- Doesn't overheat or have a loud fan included like some large batteries
I don't have any complaints - it looks great, feels great, and performs phenomenally!

There are cheaper chargers out there, however, the build quality of Omnicharge products is one of the best.
I've been using their products for the past 5 years and have been very pleased with them. They are durable, long-lasting and effective.

Charging is inconsistent and understanding why is not clear

Not sure why this issue is occurring, but I looked through the manuals and online there is very little information about charging requirements. But, if I use the cable provided for charging (USB-A to USB-C), and plug it into a standard AC adapter for charging my iphone (wall plug to USB-A), I never get past 1 bar of charge. If I use my power cable that came with my MacBook pro, I can get a full charge reliably. Everytime. If I plug it into my USB charging station I sometimes get a good charge and I sometimes do not.
The problem with this product, and for how much I paid for it, the package does not come with an AC plug that will ensure the device gets the proper voltage to charge correctly. Also, the documentation needs to be more clear on the voltage requirements to get a proper charge.
Besides this, it is a great device. A must have for my family's travel needs.

I was looking for a battery bank that can charge my laptop, wireless charge or fast charge my phone and this does a good job if you need the new updated C-type power input/output. I would have liked this to come with a power supply, and to be more clear about weather the DC port is both in and out like it says on the box, because it does not say on the device and that scares me but I did find out that it is both in and out just like the C- PD connector. I also notice that the wireless charge point is somewhat difficult to find and I have stopped using it as it seems to not charge my phone. The biggest issue I have with this charger is the lights. The indicator lights show if the unit is charging AND if the unit is powered on or not so even if the unit is not ON, and he unit is charging, the lights are on, so you go to plug in your phone and assume all is well, its not. This is literally the only thing wrong with this unit. The unit lights are on and it looks on but , is off!! Then you wake up to a dead phone after having it plugged in all and all night. The manufacturer needs to add a red light ON THE POWER BUTTON TO SHOW ITS ON . Does a great job for the money besides this one design flaw. Pass-through charging is great.
