Worked great and killed the terrible smell in our washer

My husband and I moved in into our home four years ago and the previous owners left behind a rather expensive set of clothing washer/dryer behind. My husband washed and cleaned it often, but about a few months ago a rather terrible smell started to come out of the washer, to the point that our clothes started to have a funky smell. My husband checked online and little did we know that we could have completely ruined out washer since he was not taking care of it properly. We bought these balls and after one wash it killed the awful odor that was coming out of our washer. I am beyond happy with this product!!!!
