Perfect for forge building, amazing insulation
Benjamin Worlund✓ Verified Purchase•September 29, 2023
I made a forge with this as my main insulation topped with refractory cement and fire brick. This insulation is the key, its 12x more effective than firebrick and keeps my forge cool enough on the outside that you can touch it with your bare hand. I was blown away by how effective it is! I also started using the scraps to insulate a lot of the other things that I use with and around my forge.
furnace heats fast, hard to keep are homemade furnace be low 2200 f

I like that it held together well and created minimal particles flying in the air while installing. It was used to replace old fiberglass insulation behind the panels of my fireplace insert
very dense, good noise insulation

Very dense insulation. Used this around our dishwasher to fill some gaps and reduce noise.
Easy to use

Easy to use, cuts to size easy, I use wood insert as primary heat, so heavy use for about 4 months, lasts a year or two.
