I use and reuse these to hold various music cds.. I wanted something lightweight and easy to slide in and out. These work. I would not leave them in a hot car tho. They will NOT protect your CDs from excessive heat. Just fyi.

I really like these sleeves. I'm quite happy with the quality, but most importantly they are able to fit all standard jewel case album art (the back insert needs to be inserted vertically, but does not protrude above the "binder tab" of the sleeve when the perforated side pieces are folded in). I load the album art on one side of the sleeve, and the disc on the other.
With these sleeves I can toss the jewel case, and use these instead to save some space (and shipping costs, if sending as a parcel). I wish CDs came in sleeves like this as the standard because the form factor is much more compact and uses less plastic than jewel cases, at a minor expense of impact resistance.

I bought these to free up space for my 300+ CDs and DVDs. The liner notes and CD fit in one piece (both sides). You can save the rear cardboard with the liner notes, but looks somewhat out of place but not overlapping the sleeve.
