Heavy duty construction
DNE✓ Verified Purchase•August 4, 2023
This steel target system is well-designed and of heavy-duty construction. So far it has more than met my expectations on the shooting range. It's a good idea to anchor this securely to the ground and try to set it on a level surface. I drove metal electric posts through the holes in the base to help ensure stability. One more note of caution: since the circular metal plates are already assembled on the stand, the overall target system is somewhat top-heavy. Secure the round metal targets with bungy cords or the equivalent so they don't swing and hit you in the face while you're setting the unit into position (learned this the hard way). No issues using a wide range of handgun calibers, but don't shoot these with .223 Remington/5.56 NATO rounds any closer than a couple hundred yards to prevent potential damage to the target surfaces.
Everything perfect… just don’t hit the center angle iron

Awesome product, very good product for the price! Only thing I would upgrade is the middle black angle iron should be heavier duty"¦ the little guy hit it with a round of 5.56 and it went though like butter. The actual targets are very durable and have taken about 250 5.56 rounds no issues!
Packegin was bad.

The packaging was torn in several places with holes, the hardware was missing, I had to go t the hardware store and purchase the bolts and washers to assembly, about $10. other than that everything was very good.
Sturdy but packaging needs improved.

Sturdy and easy to set up. Shipping package was in rags. Too much weight with poor weight distribution.
Really great value as its half the price of others

This is a great pistol caliber tree. 9mm 124gr swings the targets easily and the AR500 steel holds up to everything I hit with including .44 Mag 240gr rounds.
The center spine deflects well but does not handle heavy rounds. Hitting it once with the magnum bent it pretty well though it had no effect on the function of the tree. It was cometic and mostly fixed with a mallet and the spray paint these will obviously always need.
This is the 5th or so item I have from Highwild and everything so far has been great.
