You can make the bubbles go without the music which I appreciate I wish I could do the music without the bubbles too but that's ok. I find with the bubble tank less is more with filling it up. The little yellow doodad that blows the bubbles is supposed to sit on top of the water so it goes up and down I find I get the best bubbles if it is fully extended down almost just sitting ontop of the water and then I add 2-4 pumps of baby soap and let it run. He prefers to watch the bubbles instead of pop them so by time the tank has run out of water there's too many bubbles anyways!
