Perfect light at the perfect price

We recently moved to a new apartment that did not have ceiling lights and left us needing floor lamps (which I hate) for our living room and bedroom. Instead we bought this 2 pack and put one in each room and plugged them into the switched receptacle so that they are operated by our light switches.
Installation can't be easier, hardware is included for either mounting these to an existing box or to wood or drywall. The fixture is very light so no need to hit a stud with included light duty anchors that are included.
There is a switch on the cord as well, so you could plug them in anywhere if desired. For aesthetics I put the cord inside of an 1.25" plastic cable raceway and that is big enough to also encase the switch assembly for a nice clean look.
The light this puts out is sufficient for a bedroom or as accent lighting in a larger room. If you want a well lit room, use both in one room and together they put out alot of light. They are not dimmable so take that into consideration.
I would highly recommend both for looks, functionality and ease of installation.

The media could not be loaded. I really like the brightness of the white. Plus we also bought the warm light for when we want a dimmer light. I have one bright white, and one warm light in each room. I really love the look!

This is a very attractive fixture and was easy to install. The cooler light is bright and works very well in a work studio environment. You would probably want the warmer light option for bedside use. I would give it 5 stars if the metal trim extended around to the sides of the fixture.
