I wear slippers with a 1.5-2" wedge all year long. I bought these to keep my feet dry on rainy days (which are often). I'm a size 7, I bought a large to make sure it fits. Turns out large is a little too large for my taste as I prefer a better fit. There is a little extra space in front and back of my sandals. But it does fit my feet with sandals on, it was easy to put on and it does keeps my feet dry. If I had to order again I might try a medium as I do prefer a better fit. Otherwise this does the job of keeping my feet dry on wet rainy days!
