Beautiful, and the perfect size for a classic cocktail

I love these glasses! Used them for the first time recently for a Penicillin cocktail made with Scotch, Domaine De Canton Ginger liqueur, lemon, and Barenjager honey liqueur. The size of the glass is just perfect for these smaller, classic cocktail recipes. They hold 5 ounces, but that's pretty much all the way to the top. The honeycomb pattern on the bottom of the glass disappears a bit, when the glass is filled, but all you need to do is raise the glass in a toast to see it. ðŸ'‚ The box these came in was super sturdy, however it was not sealed in any way, which seemed weird. Didn't end up being a problem as the glasses were pretty secure in the box, and nothing was broken, but it seems odd that between shipment and delivery, just anyone could open it right up. Amelha included a nifty little cocktail notebook in the box, which was a nice touch. I also have the the honeycomb mixing glass, and it's a winner too - my favorite, in fact! You'll want to carefully hand wash these - the glass is thin and delicate.

These glasses are so elegant! They are perfect for 'designer cocktails' -Naked and Famous, Corpse Reviver, Last Call, Last Word etc etc.
I had to give them 4 stars for durability and sturdiness only because the glasses are thin and like an crystal, very easy to break. To ask if a piece of crystal is sturdy is crazy.
Buy theses glasses if you enjoy a 4oz cocktail-it is such a great way to serve a cocktail.

I'm not a huge cocktail drinker, but I do love my classic martini. In an effort to drink less, I decided to buy smaller glasses and go from the, like 5-6 oz drunk-maker martini that they serve in my favorite bar to the smaller 2.5 oz classic, the way it was intended.
These glasses hold my classic very nicely, and even the displaced volume from the giant olive is not too much. They look lovely, so it's an impressive presentation when I have a fully vaccinated friend over for a drink. And really, the smaller drink is better for you. There was a study that showed that when you give people a smaller drink, they don't necessarily ask for more refills. They just drink less. And that's healthier. And healthy is important, because the antivax death cult refuses to help us squash the 'rona. So, I am drinking less, and also did I mention that I am fully vaccinated, like all responsible people?
