I work from home, and would have to wear either earbuds or a headset with crappy sound that was too tight for my head and give me a headache after an hour of wearing it. This came with a headphone/mic splitter so now I have this mic set up on my desk, and my most comfortable headphones on. I can use this setup for 10 hours straight without issue. The mic seems a little on the cheap side, but it does EXACTLY what I want. And I haven't heard a single complaint from any of my clients about sound quality, unless I'm talking to them and get more than 3' from the mic, then my voice fades out for them. So, as long I stay within a 3' radius of the mic and face the mic while talking I have no sound quality issues. I would definitely recommend this product for regular office use and probably gaming. I have no idea about home studio use, but you can't go wrong for the price!

I was looking for an inexpensive simple to use microphone to be able to recommend to friends to purchase, with the COVID homebound and everyone using video calls and prices of equipment going up this has become my niche. First, let me say if you are looking for a professional mic this isn't it. What this is is a step above the built-in microphones that are in most computers. I tested with a call to my son that lives 2000 miles away and basically compared it to my other equipment. You can notice distance changes but even at more than 12 inches was superior to my laptop built-in. (new Dell BTW) Of course not as good as my CAD mic but a solid middle ground. I think the USB version might be better according to packaging but I couldn't find it available. The package is a bit confusing as it describes the USB version and only at the chart is there a clear difference shown between microphones. Very lightweight, a stiff breeze could blow away, however, for older people and children this would be good, think it would make for a good travel mic for business, cheap enough you can replace and good enough to give virtual presentations. As for myself, I believe this fits the category of something I could recommend to my friends that live on a limited budget but want to sound better for their family and friends without yelling. BTW it did do well as a hand mic for a sing-along, but I only torture my children...

I bought this item with the full expectation that it would be a useless piece of plastic. I was wrong. this small microphone (about 6" tall alone and 10" tall with its stand) did okay. I compared the sound quality vs my laptop microphone and also my professional Jabra headset. Unsurprisingly it was much worse than my $300 Jabra headset. In comparison to my laptop microphone, it was slightly better at the amplification of volume and noise cancelation but my voice sounded more pixelated and of worse quality. I think this would be a great starter microphone for children or someone that is worried that they might break their equipment. It is extremely easy to set up. It comes with one cable and automatically works once you plug in the device.

Works pretty good for the money, they send adapters but...............NOTHING about why they sent adapters and why the adapter colors are different or anything, original red adapter work fine, the other adapters fit in the microphone jack just fine also, it said on package something about using USB, that's NOT AVAILABLE on this unit so don't know why it says anything about USB??????? Mic volume was super LOW so had to adjust microphone settings in windows and increased the DB to 20, tried 30 but 30 made it have constant reverb and never quit making noise, playback is loud when talking right into mic but mic just 2 feet away, could not pick up sound very good and playback was not that loud, best to hold close to mouth when using.

I wanted to buy this mic for ASMR because it wasn't too expensive or cheap.a lot of people said it did not connect to the adapter or their electronic. I have a Lenovo tablet 8 and it connected perfectly it is a very nice microphone I love the tripod but without ideal for picking up sound in ASMR I bought honeycomb and bursting boba to try with it but it did not pick up the eating sounds which is what I wanted it for.so if you are getting this for ASMR I recommend that you don't. It is great to hear a little bit louder for example gaming. I don't think it did a great job at canceling out noise but that's just me For ASMR I do not recommend this mic. Sound quality is all right. For what I was getting it for it did not meet my expectations.
