This is a nice large clock that makes reading the time very easy. I am actually very impressed with the accuracy in the hygrometer and thermometer. I compared this against my Honeywell for indoor weather and against the Weather Channel app for outdoor weather prior to hanging. Both were within 1 degree or less and 1% or less difference. I inspected the seals that are on the front plate and the battery cover and both are done very well so I expect good water resistance from this clock. I considered several clocks for my patio and this clock won with is beautiful red finish, I am happy that it's workmanship seems to be as pleasing as it's aesthetics.

I bought this clock for my outside pool area. This is a beautiful clock. I can see it clearly from the pool. Hung it up and the next day, the time was wrong. I thought the problem was a weak battery because the clock was still running. Changed the battery, next day, the clock is still running but the time is wrong again.
This time I take a closer look and realize the hour hand was getting stuck up underneath the temperature hand. My husband says I should return it but I really don't want to go to the post office during a pandemic. My husband repairs his own watches, so he took a stab at repairing it. He did a beautiful job. When the manufacturer pressed the arms down into the clock face, the arms bent upwards causing them to get eventually get caught on each other. He pushed the temperature hand down so it was no longer sticking up.
I'm glad he was able to fix the clock because I really like it. Hopefully, it will continue to keep time.

This clock is perfect for what and where we wanted. It's got a clean face and very legible. I was hoping that the numbers were a little larger or bolder, but it's more about our placement of the clock. You can probably see it better if it was in a lower spot. The small thermometer & hygrometer on each side are small and difficult to read at the height we have it at, but we are more concerned with the clock than anything. The red rim is not as bright as it is in the photo so don't be afraid of the color. Will work well for us and our decor.

We had a solar-powered (rechargeable) outdoor clock...similar construction, that lasted for years. Finally, the clock face faded from sun exposure. Ah well. We wanted a solar-powered rechargeable version again, but there are very few options. Not a problem as I do have rechargeable batteries that can be used in the clock anyway - AA NiMh..works great. We hung the clock on our deck, and our house is all brick, so...perfect! Reddish-brown-bricks with this against them works perfectly! So far, the clock is accurate, and the controls for temp and humidity are working well. The hand on the temp seems to be pushed a bit on the arrow side towards the clock face... might have to take it apart and move it around, but...minor problem, if any.
The battery compartment and clock face are the two most-important waterproofing features of an outdoor clock. Both are working perfectly! The battery compartment seals... maybe a rubber gasket...I didn't check... but it tightens well with a hand-sized screw-on cover that is significantly better than our previous clock. We do not leave these outside in the winter as plastic and sub-freezing do not mix well...let alone the battery. But we hope this one lasts for years as a beautiful and informative decorative addition to our deck!
