I have the 1/2" set for work and decided to get the 3/8" set as well.
What other socket set on the market will give you a nice spread of Metric and SAE sockets at a price like that??
Haven't had any issues with anything chipping or cracking yet, quality and finish is on par with higher end tools.
If you're looking for a mid grade/slightly above mid grade set of sockets, I would highly recommend these.

I've been buying Tekton tools for quite a few years now. They have very high quality for the money. The breaker bar is nice and long, it's plenty long for a 3/8" breaker.

This is the best quality for the money. Very tight ratchet that gives me the click with a slight movement to work in tight spaces. I used this to replace my dad's used Craftsman from the 1970's which had missing ratchet / broken replacement parts / corroded parts.

I have a full set of tools in my box but I grab this constantly to have a set under the car with me or in the field. It's freakishly extensive with sizes you normally don't find in a 3/8" set.
