Worked like a charm

Worked immediately. Just make sure your Switch setting for pro wireless control is turned on. Follow linking instructions for your particular control and it works right out the box.
It only supports 1 xbox controller to switch at a time.

I thought I could use this and just use my Xbox controllers - multiple - for my switch.. That not how it works. I'd probably have to buy a USB hub and get multiple of these switch receiver to do that. But then why, not just get several controllers for that price. As far as I can tell. It just supports a single controller link at a time. Which was disappointing, and I felt mislead. Especially since - back in the day - I had a Xbox 360 wireless receiver and that supported multiple controller for my PC. That's old tech, I expected better of this.
Works with PS4 controller for Switch

My son has been using this to connect his PS4 controller to the Nintendo Switch to play Fortnite and any other game (make sure you deactivate the motion sensor in the game's menu options). It works great and is a cheaper solution than buying the Pro Controller. The only downside is we have to connect it each time we turn on the Switch. Not a big deal, but we haven't figured out how to keep it connected. Only takes a few seconds, so it's not a big deal. I still recommend this for players who already have a PS4 controller, or simply prefer it to the Switch and the dreaded Joy-Con drift.
Nice

You lose functionality of certain things like Xbox home button, PlayStation sensor bar, etc"¦ But it's so nice being able to use a controller that's not made for the console. Just plug in, sync and play.
Works with PS4 controller

I used this with my PS4 controller and it worked fine. The controller has motion controls and they work well with the games I've tried it with. I tried it with Breath of the Wild and everything works so if your wondering about the motion controls, they work. It is also supposed to work with other controllers but I haven't tried any so I don't know how well. You can only connect one controller at a time, so if you want to connect multiple then you will have to buy multiple adapters. I don't know if it's just mine but the USB-C cord did not work for me so I wouldn't expect anything from it. So all in all it's works perfectly but it is limited so it really depends how many controllers you plan to use.
