Product is nicely designed and was packed nicely. I would have given a full 5 stars if it had included some directions and some connectors to complete the install. I am very technically inclined so the installation was super easy and straight forward and I had all extras required but not included already on hand. However, I know from installing similar devices for friends less technically inclined, even with directions and extras they had trouble understanding and this had no directions or connectors. Had those have been included I would have given it a solid 5 stars. Compliments my rear lighting well and should definitely draw attention to braking.

I LOVE the new look of this brake light. With the larger spare tire on the back, the stock one is barely seen. This is SO much brighter and easier to see. I HIGHLY recommend this brake light if you have larger spare tire on the back. Easy to bolt right on.
With Amazon Prime we were able to get this in less than 24 hours! Super quick shipping.
My husband did end up removing the stock light completely, which now gives us a little more visibility to see out the back window. The tire was covering most of it up anyway. He also added new wire connectors to both ends. The wires from the factory are short to try and connect, BUT if you disconnect the stock one then it will work fine.

at unboxing the light looked really well made but when I found that the connecting wire was not plug and play but would require I strip the wires and splice it in somewhere , I choose to return the light rather than attempt the install

The lights came a week later than originally indicated. Came well packaged and as others have said, no instruction - but you really don't need any. Wires are stubbed out from the light assembly and a separate bundle of wire is provided. The disk is not soft material - I know because the bolt holes (jeep TJ) didn't perfectly line up and had the be opened up just a bit. The whole install, including opening up the holes, and soldering the connections took a little under an hour. The disc fits just inside the 15" wheel. Hardest part of whole job was getting the 35" spare back in place.
I would suggest gluing the metal disc against the tire carrier - would prevent the rim knocking the disk out of place. Also, not sure on this, but the lights appear to be wired in series, so if one goes out, it might prevent the rest in the line from working. Again, not sure - if that happens, I'll update this review. Overall - VERY happy with final results - looks great - very bright
