Before purchase I asked if I could use this to play a CD and have my laptop copy it. Someone said yes so I purchased. It does not.
But it does do everything else and I am not unhappy with it - IF IT LASTS longer than most electronics that seem to quit a few months out of warranty.

I got this for my wife and the whole family have been enjoying it, the sound is so clear and potent, it looks very nice in our living room, the quality is very good, the sound is very clear and potent, we can hear it in all the house with no distortion. The size of the remote is very convenient not like those "credit card" type that you end up losing them, the only thing that I wish this could have had to be perfect is a
"pre-setting" equalization modes I.E. Rock/Pop/Classic/Standard, although you can manually adjust the sound on your own to make it sound with more/less bass, treble, etc. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it

I bought this Sharp product to replace a 20+ year-old CD clock radio in a bedroom. I would use only a few of its features. I wanted good audio performance for CDs. It rivals some of my multi-component systems costing considerably more money. I wanted an equalizer. Via the remote it has +5, -5 stops for treble and for bass. It is easy to use and works fine. I wanted good sound from the only radio station I listen to, for classical music. It too is fine, even with its wire antenna. I wanted an attractive piece of equipment, well-constructed, with a sturdy remote control that actually works. It has all of the above. Granted, my use of it is limited to a few features, but it delivers with 5 stars on those features. One complaint: the Operation Manual, while a well-written 20-pages in length, is presented on a single sheet of paper measuring 33" x 23". Considerable less convenient to work from than a booklet would be.

Sharp has always made a great stereo product, and this little CD player/Radio receiver lives up to the name. It fits in perfectly with the 25+ year old Sharp rack system that my husband refuses to part with and has all of the modern options like USB input and Bluetooth. The built-in speakers sound as good as the huge speakers he also refuses to part with, and it has the inputs necessary to connect it to the old system or be used as a stand-alone.
I chose it to replace a five disc changer that died so my husband could listen to his CDs. It works, it sounds great, and it does not take an engineering degree or an MT (Millennial Techie) degree to operate it!
I chose the Used, Like New option and paid around $89 for the unit. It arrived in pristine condition, in factory packaging with all accessories wrapped and bagged the way it would have been if it were brand New. It was well-packed in the factory box, and if it ever been "used", I could not see any signs at all. So far, so good, but I would definitely recommend this unit at the price I paid or even at full price of around $149 for a "new" one.

I'm an audiophile, very very picky about speakers and sound quality. This little bookshelf stereo is fantastic! Small price, big crisp sound. Prefect for a medium sized room. Bluetooth pairs automatically to a smart TV, laptop or phone. Very easy to use and has good stereo separation for an all-in-one "box". I'm impressed.
