I really don't have any real complaints. There are features I haven't even gotten around to checking out so that's a reason for only the 4-stars. The sound is acceptable, but not perfect, but still, easily acceptable and that's another reason. I did really want it so there is that.

After having to return a Pioneer 100 CD changer, I decided to go all the way with this Sony 300 CD unit. The package protection was excellent, and it has worked flawlessly since I loaded and started playing with it.

Bought two of these, one 20 years ago and the second one about 18 years ago, both filled to the max with 300 CDs, Connected to my receiver with fiber optic audio cables and the sound is still great. Just took both apart and replaced all 3 belts in each, cleaned the interior of each and lightly greased moving parts with silicon grease, both work like new. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Thye refurbish project is very easy to do and if it needs to be done every 15 years that is great. I took the time while they where opened to clean all the CDs also since they had to be removed to replace the door open belt, could not be more satisfied with this product
