This charger is the best small charger I have seen. We had to charge up our car battery and it worked great. Car started right away. Also liked the extra emergency features it has. I liked it so much bought another one as a gift.

Got it 3 days ago, was very impressed immediately after open the box.
As an engineer at work, a tree shade mechanic at home with multiple cars and a boat, this tool ,18-in-1 CarAIDE 3X Multi-Tool can be very useful.

What I like the most are as follows:
1. Features.
Jump start. Just disconnected my Honda Pilot battery, and cranked it with this tool, the battery on the car has 750 CCA. Detached the negative connector, in one crank, car started. Works great! What is even better is that, when the car is started, this tool alarms with sound and lights, reminding me not forgetting to detach it from the car. The designer did an outstanding job in such a detail.

After starting the car and letting it stay connected for about 30 seconds, the battery level changed from full to 3/4. I guess I can start the car 3 to 4 times.

Besides the main feature of jump starting a vehicle, the second useful feature is the torch light, flash light, SOS lighting. As a boater and tree shade mechanic, this comes very handy.

The life saving features like breaking window, cutting seatbelt have not tested, wish I never needed it, but, they seems well built and ready to work.

For other features like compass, keychain etc, they are added nice things to have, not critical.

2. Quality
The overall design, construction is of very high quality, seriously. Each button, cover, plug location and size are carefully designed and made. Engineers are mostly picky, but I do not find anything that shall be done differently.

3. Easy to use and carry.
It is a powerful and versatile tool, it is also very compact. Easy to store in the car console and ready to use when needed.

Lastly, my wife and son all startled when I use the emergency alarm in a sudden. lol
I do not think that sound can really help you much in those cases.

I haven't needed to start a car with it yet but I have little doubt it will work. If your intent to leave it in your car in case of emergency, this will probably be fine.

I do have two main complaints:
First, it is very bulky. My previous backup jump-start device was about the size of 2 decks of cards. This thing is about 9" long and about 2" in diameter for most of that length. The 'head' is about 2.5" square.

Second, this device won't charge anything while it is plugged in itself. I would use my old device as a buffer to charge my phone from strange computers and not worry about USB data. Also, it could charge from lower power USB than my phone would, so I could charge essentially anywhere. Even if this device could pass-througg charge, lugging a 9"x2" baton around isn't convenient for that purpose.

It has a built-in light, but for it's size, it could be MUCH brighter. It's the size of a MagLight, but it is no brighter than one of those little throway LED keychain lights.

So, my kid decided that he needed a car booster battery. He gave me a link to the specific one he wanted. So that's the one I bought. I didn't think it would be a big deal or matter. I gave it to him for Christmas. He was ecstatic. Neither he nor I expected that, the day after Christmas, he would need it. It worked wonderfully! Hi praises! I am buying one for myself.

Since Feb, I have owned two of this amazing multi tool, one for my wife and the other for myself. Love it so much. It provides me a peace of mind in so many ways --
* forget to turn off map light? no problem, no panic and no scrambling, this smart jump starter comes to rescue;

* going to camping? of course, the built-in flashlight is handy; in fact, it's so strong, you should avoid direct eye contact;

* need it in a rainy day? no worry about rainwater, feel free to use this tool;
* in an emergency? escape the car quicker by using this tool: cut the seat belt, smash the window;
